If you choose a PDF as the format, you can already see on your PC how the final printout will look. With a Word file, depending on the printer, unwanted changes may occur.

Clarify with your supervisor which binding is preferred and whether double-sided printing is desired or not.

New regulation

Starting November 8, 2024, a new standardized process for submitting theses will apply at Ohm: All students must submit their theses to the Student Office.

The submission consists of one printed copy as well as an identical digital PDF version, which you must send by email to studienbuero@th-nuernberg.de and to your first and second examiners.

You will receive further information in the registration form for the thesis.

Exceptions:

  • For students who have already registered their thesis, a transitional arrangement applies – allowing submission according to the previous procedures.
  • In the Faculties of Design and Architecture, formats for theses may differ.
