Writing an Abstract

Faculties: SW

The abstract provides readers with a quick overview of the work. An abstract is usually no longer than half a page, at most one page, and typically appears after the cover page but before the table of contents. Writing an abstract is generally only required for final theses (see the faculty guidelines for bachelor's and master's theses in the Faculty of Social Sciences available on the faculty intranet).
